Purpose: Design a Community & Change Your Life; A Step-by-Step Guide to Finding Your Purpose and Making It Matter is an inspirational novel that explores the implications of community in life and helps the reader develop their purpose in life. The author, Gina Bianchini, finds inviting ways to share experiences that have occurred in her life and shares takeaways that the reader can use to examine their own experiences. Bianchini dives into her past and shares her perspectives with co-founding ‘Ning’ and later on ‘Mighty’. This book explores formulas and provides context to help the reader develop a purpose for multiple aspects of their life.

Gina Bianchini provides a proven method that helps the reader to discover their purpose and foster a community of growth-minded individuals. I enjoyed how the author differentiated the foundations of purpose to fit the individual. The reader learns more about community, values, principles, social norms, and traditions. The author invites the reader to reflect on how these different backgrounds or influences impact on their life and the purpose they seek. Gina Bianchini’s novel inspires readers to get curious about accomplishments and situations that occur in their lives. This curiosity aspect is one of the main reasons why I enjoyed this book as much as I did. Purpose: Design a Community & Change Your Life; A Step-by-Step Guide to Finding Your Purpose and Making It Matter, examines relationships between occurrences and invites the reader to decipher meaningful themes to apply to their current perspective. Oftentimes those that are seeking purpose in their lives are those that aspire to make connections and build relationships. The author explores a formula that sets your purpose to action and action to community and enables the reader to “harness the full power of your time, talents, energy, and focus to deliver on a mission bigger than yourself (Bianchini, 2022, p. 30).” Even more, the author invites the reader to explore a future that they can see themselves living in and create purposes to each aspect of that life. This book created a mindset that enables the reader to delve into their experiences and communities and reflect on what is truly important.

I found this book to be a wonderful read and highly recommend this book. I found no aspect of this novel to be unappealing.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed reading this book and it is one of the best novels I have read in this genre. This book inspired me to find purpose and apply it to my life.

I really enjoyed reading this novel and highly recommend it to everyone looking to determine and explore their purpose(s) in life.
