Richard Rees wrote a letter to his granddaughter Abigail that is collected in the book Dear Abigail. When Carys, Abigail's mother, passed away from cancer, she was only a small kid. Carys made her father, Richard Rees, promise her that he would tell her baby, Abigail, everything about her from the day she was born and also tell her how much she loved her during the final moments before she passed away. Abigail's grandfather, Richard Rees, missed her dearly after her mother, Carys, passed away and she moved out with her father, Ian, and his new wife, Ileana.

In a grieving mood, the author sat down and started to write this letter to his granddaughter, sharing with her all the memories of the events before and after her birth as well as some family members and history. In this book, the author also recounts the life of his wife Rachel, beginning on the day he first met her, as well as the lives of other family members. Do you wish to learn more about the memories narrated in this book? obtain a copy of Richard Rees' book, Dear Abigail.

The level of emotion I experienced while reading Richard Rees' book, Dear Abigail, is difficult to put into words. The fact that I was crying while reading this book in my heart didn't become apparent until tears started pouring from my eyes. I admire Richard Rees for having the courage and fortitude to write this book; it is a wonderful story that generates a powerful emotional response from the reader, and his writing style is distinctive and makes the book simple to read and comprehend.

I've never read anything like this book before, and I had a wonderful time reading it from beginning to end. I appreciate Carys for her courage; she really is a strong fighter who doesn't give up until the very last moment. Carys needed love and kindness the most, and Richard Rees, Ian, and other family members and friends showed it to her. I am grateful for them. I am now more aware of the dangers involved in developing cancer as a result of reading this book.

While reading through the memories in this book, I had a great time, but one thing I didn't like about it was how many grammatical errors I came across. It was professionally edited. I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I'll recommend this book to anybody who has lost loved ones to one ailment or another.

Wow, this must have been such an emotional read to bring you to tears. It just goes to show the power and value of love, especially during our lowest moments. It's sad losing a parent at such a young age and unfortunately people who are blessed with parents their whole lives might never know the magnitude of this blessing till it's too late. All in all, we should be grateful for our folks. I enjoyed your review, thank you for the great work.
The gift turned out to be a curse. They killed him with kindness.
