Review of The Three Heavens
The Three Heavens by Paul Hitchiner. This is a religious book that talks about the three heavens, which are the outer court, holy place, and holy of holies in the tabernacle. The book seeks to let the reader know that the first heaven is for people who have a caring heart. These people are not really born again, nor will you call them selfish, lustful, or deceitful; rather, they try to be decent in their conduct. Now the second heaven is for people who have been made righteous by faith and not by works, while also revealing the true teachings of the New Testament. Paul Hitchiner emphasized that we cannot live above sin without becoming a new creature in Christ Jesus, even if we attend the best church in town and have decided to serve God all the days of our lives, with our first birth being the Adamic nature of man. For us to live above sin, we must attain the second birth, which is the total surrender to the finished work of Jesus on the cross that is being resurrected with Christ as a new creature.
The gospel is the finished work of Jesus on the cross. He took everyone to the cross so that anyone who believes in Him will take up his cross daily and follow Jesus. thereby killing the first birth and becoming fully born again. God gave the law to expose the sinful nature of man and to remind us that without Jesus, we are empty vessels. Grace came to give us the power to say no to sin even when we are tempted. Many people read the Bible, thinking they can find eternal life in it. But it’s not like that. Eternal life can be obtained by total surrender to the will of God.
The book is professionally well edited. I did not find any grammatical or spelling errors. It was explained in simpler terms. The book helps someone live a holy life. and also to know the will of God for our lives. We cannot make heaven by just obeying the ten commandments.
For a proper understanding of this book, we need the help of the Holy Spirit. It will be wise not to read it like a mere novel or piece of literature in order to get the most out of it. I therefore rate this book 5 out of 5.
I recommend this book to Christian fellows who want to strengthen their work with God. Christian teachers and scholars can also go for the book. This book is really good for our present-day Christians. knowing fully well that there are many doctrines in the world.
