Ending Fear: The "7 R" Formula for Fearless Awakening by Thomas R. Wakechild is a non-fiction literary work aimed at managing, controlling, and eventually eliminating fear. The author explained this through the carefully planned “7 R" formula that “build upon each other to form a complete system for Fearless Awakening."

Although many of these ideas are familiar, this book has profound intelligence in several areas, including psychology, sociology, and science. All these are to offer a new paradigm to reject negative beliefs. This book articulates the concept of consciousness with a tripartite level of mind consciousness. It also articulates an intense study of the science of the mind with references to the "Age of Freud." This book helps you shift your consciousness to a thought-based system that supports your dreams. It also helps you take responsibility for your self-identity in this fearful world. Join this fearless awakening; “you have nothing to lose but your fear."

I liked how the book was written in a direct attempt to combat fear. There was no laxity in dealing with the core topic. Every step in the fearless awakening formula was a clear rationale for eliminating fear. These are the seven steps: “Realize, Recognize, Relationships, Responsibility, Reinterpret, Revolt, and Restructure." The first two help lay the groundwork for a non-fear-based thought system. The next three steps address the “Creation cycle," which generates experiences. The next one empowers you to be open to modifications and new interpretations. And the last two provide the “know-how" of ending fear. Together, all these materials make the book empowering materials against fear.

A brilliant concept that the author employed in this book is to give stipulated definitions to words with multiple definitions. For instance, "fear," according to this book, “IS THE STATE OF AGITATION THAT ARISES WHENEVER YOU BELIEVE YOU LACK THE CREATIVE POWER TO HANDLE A GIVEN SITUATION." Many other words in the book were, in like manner, given stipulated definitions. I liked this about the book.

The book provides extensive knowledge of self-identity in all three aspects of psychology, sociology, and science, which supports the “7 R" formula. I respect the author's dedication to coming up with this. This is because he had been in a similar situation. He understands how one would feel; hence, he provides relatable advice that will aid readers in overcoming their fears. Based on all this, I rate this book a deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Aside from a few errors, I consider this book a flawless antidote for overcoming fear. I have no negative issues with the book.

Readers who are interested in fear-based topics would love this book. I believe this book is open to different sects of readers, as it does not contain any diversity in terms of culture and the like. Instead, it relates to science, sociology, and the mind in building a thought system that empowers readers to create their self-identity.

While there are certain fears I want to get rid of, I want to keep some also. The good fears. I wonder if the author strikes a balance between the different kinds of fears. Thanks for the review!
