Having a happier life is easily anyone’s desire. We all want to feel happy and content. However, as simple as it might sound, it is one of the most difficult things to accomplish. We are all surrounded by different circumstances and problems that interfere with achieving happiness in our lives.

Always Strive to Be a Better You by Pete Hall is a self-help motivational book that talks about 13 key life lessons that will help its readers in achieving happier and better lives. The author shares stories and interactions with certain individuals that will surely inspire a lot of us. The book also makes use of Plato’s philosophy on how to achieve a happier life.

First of all, I have to say I am so happy to be able to read and review this book. Honestly, this has got to be my favorite self-help book in a long time. One of the things I love about this book is that the author shared meaningful key messages or life lessons per chapter. By doing so, I was able to immerse myself and reflect on each lesson. The author did a wonderful job by also incorporating stories from different individuals to share the importance and application of each key lesson.

In addition to that, I liked that there were questions at the end of every chapter for readers to pause and reflect. I find this to be very helpful and engaging. One of the greatest things about this book is that the author was also able to provide specific examples of how to apply the key lessons he has discussed in each chapter. The author is also consistent in his lessons and he always reminds the readers to reframe negative factors or instances in our lives. Indeed, we can change certain factors and our perspective into something positive.

There is nothing I disliked about this book. I also find this book to be exceptionally well-edited since I did not find any errors in this book. This is a superb self-help book that will surely help a lot of its readers. That is why, I would rate this book a 5 out of 5.

I would recommend this to anyone interested in becoming a better version of themselves and finding the path toward happiness. If you are a fan of self-help books, this is perfect for you. This will not disappoint you at all. Hopefully, it will help you live an extraordinary life.
