Prosperity Gospel is a religious book that talks about orthodox Christian beliefs and how they have been vandalized over time. The book also defies controversial beliefs of false apostles, false deities, and similarities between man and God. This book has been written as a neutralizer for all the damage The prosperity movement has caused to conventional Christian beliefs.

This book focuses on the charismatic movement and how it was taken over by bizarre gnostic cults in the second century. Prosperity Gospel mentions the emergence of the Word of Faith movement in great detail along with the names of the people who played major roles in spreading it. Roger has also mentioned the basic psychology of Word of faith scholars, which distinguishes them from scholars of other schools of thought. He has also busted some of the most absurd beliefs of the Word of faith movement, in this book with firm evidence from the Bible. For example, he has ruled out the theory of anthropomorphism that denies God’s abilities to be omnipotent, omniscient ad omnipresent. Another significant denomination of the Word of faith movement, that Roger has defied in this book is that God shares his authority with man, and needs his help to carry out his plans. The book also mentions some other religious virtues like how satanic attacks are divine tests and how a true believer should never question God's intent behind any of these.

The best thing about the book is that it has been written very intricately, just as the topic demands. Another thing that I greatly liked about the book was the ample amount of verses from the bible, which ensure the authenticity of the content of the book. For instance, in the appendix of Prosperity Gospel, Roger has shared additional verses from the bible. The author has also made sure to make the book an interesting and light read, with relevance to real-life events. Lastly, he has conveyed his message thoroughly to the readers, with the help of summaries after each chapter. For example, Roger has drawn a comparison chart towards the end of his book, regarding the differences between biblical teachings and word of faith teachings.

Although overall the book is great for guidance, I think for some amateurs the upfront tone of the author might be a little extreme to handle, which can cause some differences.

I found the book well-researched yet succinct. It was also exceptionally edited, which positively impacts its credibility. Thus, I give this book a rating of five out of five stars. I recommend this book to people of all ages who have been looking for divine guidance and a deeper understanding of Christianity.
