“Wisdom Of The Men”: How I Went From Taxi Driver To Working With Global Superstars & 5 U.S. Presidents - Revealing All My Secrets So You Can Do It Too is an aptly titled book that was authored by Clint Arthur. Most of the wisdom that is shared in the book was taken from some of the men he met. His story is also captured well in the subtitle. After graduating from the prestigious Wharton Business School, Clint Arthur's life seemed destined for great success. He positioned himself to become successful in Hollywood, but when he failed to achieve that success, he became a taxi driver. Today, however, he is a successful author and mentor, and he credits this success to a myriad of secrets he shares in the book.

A few women make an appearance in the book. Oprah Winfrey, Caitlyn Jenner, and Hillary Clinton appear at some point in the book, and this was a little surprising because the name of the book is very specific. There's nothing wrong with the inclusion of these women. I would have loved to see more women included in the book. But I found the clash between the title and these women to be a little interesting. I would have preferred it if the author only had men in the book as a way to honour the title fully.

Other than that, this is a pretty amazing book. I loved what I read. Some parts of the book are written in a story format. I know that those parts were most probably a little fictionalised, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. They were insightful. The author has met a significant number of celebrities, and he captured their meeting well. These meetings were more valuable to the author and his success than one might think at first glance.

Also, the author was honest about his failures. That kind of honesty is what makes me respect him more than anything he has achieved. I love honest people because they are genuine a lot of the time.

I feel that I should rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Despite my misgivings with the title of the book and some of its contents, I feel that the book deserves the rating. It pretty much nails its objective and even manages to be surprising.

I recommend “Wisdom Of The Men”: How I Went From Taxi Driver To Working With Global Superstars & 5 U.S. Presidents - Revealing All My Secrets So You Can Do It Too to the men and women who want to get ahead in their chosen careers, especially if those careers are in the literature and motivational speaking areas. I bet that some of the advice shared in the book can be helpful to help further anyone's career.
