Review of “Wisdom Of The Men”
Wisdom of The Men by Clint Arthur is the journey of Clint's life. It spans his life in school and his struggles after school before attaining his current status. Clint Arthur is a smart guy who goes to Wharton Business School and graduates with his whole life ahead of him. A life that once seemed so bright doesn't look so anymore when his dream of hacking it into Hollywood becomes just a drag. After thirteen years in Hollywood trying to be somebody and ending up being nobody, Clint suddenly realizes the need to change his career path.
Clint moves from a struggling taxi man to joining A Men's Team, which he had previously quit. Drawing inspiration and support from fellow men, he finally feels he is getting somewhere. The drive keeps up and does not look back. He rises to even lead the team and help guide and nurture others. Life gets easier as he chances on to the butter business. His career as a celebrity entrepreneur also kicks off and grows.
Clint's life is inspirational; Seeing him struggle and picking up from a self-published author who doesn't make a single sale to an author who writes several books, to a celebrity speaker, and a life coach. The advice he gives will challenge you not to give up. While trying to book himself on TV, Clint made several calls before being accepted to his first show. And he admits he sucked, but this did not discourage him. Instead, Clint Arthur perfected his formula of booking into Tv shows. I loved that he never let an opportunity with any celebrity pass him. Clint interacted with them, even asking for a selfie. All this he gets to share with you, the reader.
Wisdom of The Men is a brilliant book because of the milestones Clint achieved. It also contains snippets of advice he gets from the celebrities he meets and asks them about the important thing they have learned in life. When things do not go as expected, Clint takes them in stride. He somehow gets to turn things around, even when they seem like a lost cause. And as the common saying goes, behind every successful man is a successful woman, Clint affirms that his wife, Ali, has been that push. There is nothing I disliked in the book. It also seemed to have been professionally edited. Consequently, I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.
I can recommend this novel to those who like self-improvement books. It can also appeal to those who love memoirs.
