Addressing Systemic Discrimination by Reframing the Problem by Dr. Frank L. Douglas is an insightful research study that looks into behavioural patterns of workplaces, identifies systemic marginalisation, speaks about its effects on both the individual and the organisation, and identifies equity and inclusion as the two key concepts for eradicating marginalisation in the workplace. The book draws from several real-life experiences to outline the steps and procedures for eradicating discrimination on the victim's part and for retraining and reorientating the organisation as a whole.
 
I liked the simple language used in this book. I also enjoyed the fact that the book was able to successfully touch on systemic discrimination, which is one of the key areas of concern in today's world. I liked the fact that the book had several pictorial representations to aid understanding, and the author used real-life experiences of other people to make the book reliable to the reader.
 
I didn't appreciate the fact that there were too many acronyms, some of which were not explained till later on in the book, and that made the book a little difficult to follow. Other than that, I have no other complaints about the book.
 
I loved that the book was exceptionally well edited; I found no errors in it. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I rated it so highly because of the absence of concrete negative points and because it was such an educative read.
 
I recommend Addressing Systemic Discrimination by Reframing the Problem by Dr. Frank L. Douglas to people who believe they are being discriminated against in their workplaces and don't know how to handle the situation. The book is also a great read for employers because it will teach them how to restructure their workplaces and make them a more conducive environment for maximum output.
