Review of Free and Fearless
Is every life worth celebrating after death? When do we say a person's life on earth was well lived? Which is more important, the number of years a person lives on earth or the impact and legacy a person leaves on earth? These were a few questions I kept asking myself as I read through this book. I must say that the life of Brittany would definitely be an inspiration to anyone who reads this book. To Philip Moser, the author of this book, Free and Fearless, I so much admire your courage in writing this story in order to keep the memory alive and honor your daughter. Brittany would be proud to have an amazing dad like you, wherever she is.
Free and Fearless by Phil Moser is an amazing and well-written emotional nonfiction book. Camille and Brittany were raised by their parents, Marilyn and Philip Moser, in a small town in northeastern Indiana. However, Philip shared a very special bond with Brittany, as was evident in the way he wrote about her in this book. Read this book to find out. Brittany, who was an easygoing person, an avid sportswoman, a photographer, a yoga instructor, a flight attendant, an adventurer, and more, was diagnosed with two health conditions. How does this affect her life and that of those around her? Check out this book to learn about her struggles with these terminal diseases.
The love that Brittany received after her death was something that struck me and got me thinking about my life. What would people say about me after my death? Have I touched enough lives to be able to leave any impact on the hearts of people around me? I could feel the pain of Brittany's death, like she was my daughter. I was happy that the author could keep a lot of memories of his daughter through the adventure they had. After reading this book, I am no longer ignorant of Addison's disease, and I owe this to the author for writing this book. The organization of this book is worthy of commendation. The pages were accurately numbered, and the chapters were well titled.
The pain and suffering Brittany had to go through made me so heartbroken, and I really disliked it. I think before couples get married, aside from checking if they are compatible health-wise, they should check their family background to see if there is any trace of a terminal disease to avoid bringing children into the world that would end up suffering and causing pain to them. The editors of this book did a good job. I could not find any errors in this book. I loved the pictures contained in this book, as they helped me see the interesting people and places featured in it.
I loved this book, and I honestly could not get enough of it. I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all lovers of nonfiction and anyone suffering from any life-threatening disease.
