A successful career is only but a plethora of several many factors. For men, a common factor that enters conversations is their drive for success. It is their will that takes men to places. In Wisdom of The Men by Clint Arthur, he tells the story of his entrepreneurship and how he progressed from the beginning. This is a story of a man that inspires and motivates.

Arthur includes a lot of motivational stories in his book and he speaks with a voice that is raw and honest. He talks about his stories of when he was only a weekend taxi driver, how he started his business, and eventually until he had separate chapters to talk about all the remarkable people he’s worked with. There’s even an honest account of his stories about his love life with his wife and how that progressed with the birth of his daughter.

I would easily recommend this to fans of memoirs. Arthur’s book is written in a manner that would easily appeal to fans of self-help and motivational pieces. I would especially recommend this to readers who appreciate conversational writing styles. I felt as if I was talking to Arthur while I was reading, and I know other readers would treasure finding that type of company in books.

There is nothing I disliked about this book. I looked forward to reading about the personalities that Arthur would interact with and talk about in the book. I knew for sure that I would learn something from all of them. I was never much of a people person, but I enjoy listening to stories; this book greatly appealed to that fundamental part of my character. On top of this, I also appreciated that Arthur included personal photos of the significant people he met. The photos made me feel like Arthur was personally sharing his stories with me. I also did not find any errors in this book, and I would say that it is exceptionally edited. I rate this book five out of five stars.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I genuinely felt as if I gained several new friends by the time I finished this book, and I cherish that experience. I also greatly appreciate that the life lessons were incorporated into the stories. This was a breath of fresh air as opposed to the regular formats of self-help books where they specifically outline these lessons like a manual. I applaud the author for doing a good job with this book, and I hope he meets more spectacular people in his life.
