Review of A Dream For Peace
The autobiography A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah takes us through his life as an unsung hero. An Algerian who unequivocally demonstrated that you can accomplish your goals no matter where you are. He is not only revered as a hero by the Algerian people, but also by other wealthy African nations.
Here is a visionary, a tenacious Algerian youngster with an unyielding will to fight for his country's independence from French colonization in a century where colonization, racial prejudice, and elitism were headquartered on the African continent. His struggle for freedom for Algeria and, most importantly, realizing his dream of world peace for all people, regardless of race, language, or religion, began during his elementary school years and continued through his time at university. Was he able to accomplish this goal throughout his lifetime? Keep reading to learn more.
What I liked best about this book is the range of concerns it brings to light. Themes such as politics, science, religion, and marriage are developed at length. I was astounded by how Dr. Ghoulem Berrah lived a balanced life centered on the concepts mentioned. He temporarily shelved his political revolution to pursue his scientific endeavors in America. He discovered that Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria could be selectively inhibited from synthesizing DNA. I admired Berrah's bravery and cunning. These qualities propelled him to academic excellence that he had never imagined. I liked how the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and other nations' calls for independence were mentioned. The variety of cultures added yet another layer of interest to this text. My favorite aspects of the people in Yamoussoukro were their nutrition and dress standards. It was simple for me to keep track of everything because of the events' chronological order. The book is remembered and gives the content a seal of legitimacy thanks to the graphic presentations employed.
I didn't find anything in the book to be objectionable. The book was intelligent and encouraging, which is why I liked it. I was incredibly motivated by the author's noble outlook, tenacity, and battling spirit. Despite being imprisoned and subjected to torture, he persisted in moving forward. It only gave him more motivation to complete his mission. He is a man of integrity, as evidenced by the fact that he refused a bribe from the dean of a higher education facility. He didn't judge people by their religious affiliation but instead by who they were as people. Although Titi was a Christian and Muslim, he still loved her more than his three wives. It was good of him to want to know more about his wife's religion.
I have no reason to give this anything less than a 5 out of 5 stars overall. Since I found no mistakes, the book is exceptionally well-edited. I'll also suggest this to historians and those involved in politics.
