Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's memoir, "A Dream for Peace," recounts his life, from growing up in Algeria during colonization to becoming a scientist and diplomat. The book offers a well-balanced combination of memoir, diplomacy, and storytelling, with exceptional writing skills that make it a pleasure to read. The author displays selflessness in his campaign for Algeria's independence and his efforts towards achieving peace, which is admirable. Berrah's message of hope for the youth emphasizes the importance of unity and love in the family, giving readers an inspiring perspective.
The book provides insights into Africa's struggle for independence and brings geopolitical topics like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to life. It offers a glimpse into Algeria's fight for independence, giving a personal account of the country's history.

Positively, the book's language is straightforward and easy to read, making it suitable for readers interested in diplomacy, political history, and social justice. Also, the pictures scattered throughout the book provide a visual depiction of the characters, making them more real to the reader.

While there isn't any negative aspect to the book, some readers may have preferred a more balanced view of the president of Côte d'Ivoire, as the author's focus is mainly on the president's achievements. Additionally, some readers may find the book lengthy.

I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for its exceptional writing skills and inspiring message of hope.

The book is an excellent choice for those interested in the power of diplomacy and the unity of the planet. It is recommended for readers who prefer dialogue to force in resolving conflicts and on the path toward world peace. The memoir is ideal for readers interested in African history and the continent's fight for independence.

Overall, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's book, "A Dream for Peace," is an exceptional memoir that offers readers a balance between memoir, diplomacy, and storytelling with a message of hope for the future.
