Review of “Wisdom Of The Men”
Our society is full of famous people at all levels of our social systems. In reality, becoming a celebrity is every young child's desire. However, as people move through life, dealing with various types of people and learning the dynamics of human relations, they develop a wide range of ideas on celebrity living. Some people have reservations about celebrity, while others applaud it. Nonetheless, we can all agree that being a recognizable presence in any social environment necessitates originality or purposeful effort. We've all been inquisitive about our favorite celebrity at some point; we want to know what makes them tick, and we want to be inspired by them. Clint Arthur discusses some of his own experiences with a number of famous characters in the United States of America at various stages in his life in his book Wisdom of the Men. He methodically underlines some of the most important lessons he learned from the various superstars he met, which the reader will find inspiring.
The author recounts his life journey from being a taxi driver to being a very wealthy celebrity businessman. The author was born and raised in New York City. He attended high-achieving schools there, which would have prepared him for success in his chosen vocation. During his school years, he met and interacted with a variety of people who influenced his decision to become a jack of all trades. Everything was conceivable for him. He formed a desire to become a Hollywood superstar through screenplay writing in his early twenties. In order to accomplish his Hollywood ambition, the author's life takes a different path than he expected. The life narrative is fascinating and full of lessons.
The author's authenticity in his narration is the book's best feature. The author accurately depicts the many periods of his life. He vividly brings out the youthfulness in him as a teenager by the choice of words and language in general; similarly, as a mid-adult, the author has successfully caught that face of his life. Every facet of his life and choices can be clearly related to by the reader. Furthermore, the author has included images and selfies he took with numerous superstars whose influence is explored in the book. This element lends credibility to the account.
Because the story features a number of celebrities whom the author met at various points in his life, several of the lessons and inspirational principles presented by the author appear multiple times. Some readers may find the repetition tedious, but it does not detract from the enjoyment of the novel.
My rating for the book is 5 out of 5 stars. There were only a few grammatical problems identified, indicating that the text was professionally edited. The author has provided his life narrations and celebrity encounter dialogues in a simple and fascinating manner that is exciting to read. The author attempted to bring out the various opinions of many celebrities on life in order to impact the readers' perspective. What better way to accomplish this than to have them react to a common question, as the author has done? "What's the most important thing you've ever learned?"
The book is a must-read for everyone who likes self-help and inspirational writings. Because the author's account is as engaging and entertaining as they come, the book can also be read for general amusement.
