"A Dream for Peace," the autobiography by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, describes his journey toward diplomacy and the pursuit of world peace. The book tells the story of the author's life, starting with his early years in Constantine, an area of Algeria under French rule. Dr. Berrah first wanted to become a well-known rider, but he ended up becoming well-known all over the world for his patriotism, enthusiasm, and dedication to improving the world. How did the author accomplish his dream? What challenges did he encounter? To find out more, read this book.

I was intrigued as I turned the pages and read about the author's journey from Algeria to Bordeaux to pursue a medical degree, where he made acquaintances and connections with individuals from other nations. With a group of friends who shared his passion for helping Algeria achieve independence despite many obstacles, Dr. Berrah established an organization. His autobiography continues the challenging journey toward revolution and independence.

Due to his dedication and perseverance, Dr. Berrah gained recognition worldwide and established a close relationship with the president of Cote d'Ivoire. His academic achievements were also noteworthy, and he worked as a professor at Yale University and as a scientist. The book also covers his challenging romantic and marital experiences.

Dr. Berrah's viewpoints on racism, religion, and world peace were interesting to read, and his ideas on happiness stood out in particular. He observed that a lot of individuals base their sense of self on their financial wealth, which only serves to rob them of their spirituality and real selves. "Peace starts with each of us; it shouldn't be a dream," says Dr. Berrah. Therefore, we must start with ourselves if we want to extend peace to our families, friends, and communities.

The book discusses Dr. Berrah's wishes for peace for all, including Israelis and Palestinians. I gained insights into the "toxic" relationship between the United States, Israel, and Palestine, which changed my previously held views that Palestine was solely responsible for the conflict. I learned that all three parties bear some responsibility for the situation.

I found the book to be motivational, instructive, and well-edited. I found nothing to dislike about this book, and I did not come across any errors, for which I must commend both the author and the editor. Dr. Berrah accomplished a great deal in his lifetime, and I am proud of him. He demonstrated how both religions can coexist by marrying a Jewish person. Therefore, I rate "A Dream for Peace" a perfect 5 out of 5 stars, and highly recommend it to anyone interested in historical fiction or diplomacy.
