As one who is desirous to make a positive impact on the world around me, and those I share it with, “Purpose” seemed an informative book to begin with. Little did I know that my expectations would be fulfilled, but in a way that was much more holistic and straightforward than I anticipated.

To begin with, the book was practical. I have been through my fair share of “how-to” and self-help/make-an-impact books that were all talk and few, if any, actionable steps. I was pleased and surprised to find that this book was neither. The case was made for a complete system of implementation and why the steps had to be what they were and in the order they were. To have an authority walk you through the framework of a process for the cost of a book is not something that is done. I felt the information set forth started me off on my journey in a way that was good enough to begin and go on with for a time, to see how I did it on my own. It’s honestly quite refreshing to have a book lay things out so well that you can leave it feeling like you have all the tools you need. It was very much an instruction manual.

I appreciated the author’s candor and down-to-earth relatability. The call behind her writing the book was obvious and it was written in such a way that you became a cheerleader and a champion by the end of your time with her. Coming from a place of honesty, it was both powerful and uplifting to have walked the journey with her.

The copy was beautifully written, the logic was perfect. You can tell that she knows intimately what she is talking about, what her goal is. Not just that, she wants it for her readers. This book definitely warrants a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
