Review of A Dream For Peace
The path of a political activist, particularly in Algeria, Africa, and the Arab region, is well documented in Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's book A Dream for Peace. It's not your conventional "rags to riches" tale; rather, it's the exceptional narrative of a great man who merely longs for peace. Because of his covert objective, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah may appear to readers throughout this book as though he never sleeps.
When the French government still controlled Algeria, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born there. Since he was little, he has excelled academically. His nationalistic quest blew up when he attended a university in France due to the overt racism there. He never stops working to free his people, the Algerians, from the control of the French colonial forces. Ups and downs continued to occur following his arrest. Will he stick it out until his patriotic mission is done?
The book's settings were vividly and precisely described, which I found appealing. I was interested and drawn in because of how well Berrah's experiences were described. I was able to quench my hunger for knowledge thanks to the text, which was primarily made up of generalizations and clichés. The book's chapters were well organized and simple to follow, and it had images that occasionally helped to clarify the author's narration.
The book was well proofread by the publishers, too. The author is fluent in English and well-versed in the political and religious developments taking place around the world. In addition to marriage, war, and religion, the work covers other themes. The author was a Muslim who married a Christian and served as a diplomat. His career as a diplomat led him all over the world, where he assisted in the construction of cathedrals and mosques as well as efforts to bring peace to the Middle East and Africa.
Dr. Berrah is a bright diplomat, a devoted husband, a brave countryman, and a kindhearted person who upholds his beliefs. This memoir is not just instructive but also has a strong emotional impact. As a result, I gave it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Dr. Berrah's hopes for a better future inspired me to want to be kinder and more optimistic. I am unable to criticize anything or point out any mistakes. The editing was exceptional.
Anyone with a great interest in the dangers of colonization, the complexities of diplomacy, or the teachings of other religions should read this book, in my opinion. This book will be a fantastic academic resource because of its quantity of content. For readers who prefer not to read political or historical memoirs, this is less acceptable.
