I believe that everyone is an icon, and we should not be forgotten for any positive impact we make on our society or country as a whole. With this said, I also believe that every impact we make in life has a degree of significance, and the life of Nelson Mandela is an example of a legend the world should never forget.

A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is an autobiography that explains the ideas, planning, perseverance, humiliation, accusations, and many more that the doctor encounters in his life journey, as you will find out by reading this book. The author grew up in the Algerian town of Ain Beid during France's colonial rule.

His struggle for the independence of Algeria started when he relocated to France to pursue his medical career. He was a special adviser to President Houphouet-Boigny, and he was always selfless when he was with the president and held his goals in high regard. He took a Christian wife despite being a Muslim, and to my understanding, this proves the level of respect he had for the beliefs of other tribes and religions.

I find this book very appealing because it brings to light a lot of things that you would find out from reading it. The writing style of the author was complex, but I believe this proves the mass of education and experience he had in life. I also admire the fact that he took part in the Moroccan Liberation Army, which also shows that he is an embodiment of courage. The fact that Dr. Berrah referred to President Houphouet-Boigny as a father is also something I liked because it shows how close their relationship was.

I had no dislikes about this book, which makes me rate A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah 5 out of 5 stars. I did not encounter any errors while reading this book, and this proves that the editing was perfect. I recommend this book to people interested in history and politics.
