I have read Gina Bianchini's Purpose and rate it 4 out of 5 stars because it was very good. After reading the synopsis of the book before taking on the assignment of providing a review, I thought this would be a useful tool at this point in my life. I did enjoy reading the book and did acquire some very helpful tips to apply to my personal circumstances. Unfortunately, I can't see myself doing all of the necessary self-reflection and work involved to "finding my purpose". That is the reason for my rating of 4 out of 5 stars. Nothing to do with anything concerning the author's writing style or content - just a personal opinion in regards to how the book's instructions relate to me. I believe to someone that was committed to making the changes the author described throughout the step-by-step guide this book would definitely be a wonderful source of guidance. I'm just not interested in doing the amount of work needed of self-reflection the author outlined in the book. Truthfully, after understanding the amount of self-reflection needed to follow the book's guide, right in the first chapter, I'm surprised I kept reading to finish it. I guess I needed to keep reading to see if things became easier to accomplish. I enjoyed the real-life examples provided by the author and wish there had been more.

I liked the layout of the book and how the author built the guide gradually with each chapter. It was great the author included a glossary and note section. Although I would have included the notes on the page where the note occurs. I just like seeing them on the page where the reference happens. I didn't notice any typos as I feel the author definitely was painstakingly aware that she should present her material in a professional manner.
