Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
Is heaven real? Is hell real? People have been asking these questions for centuries. Snatched Up to Heaven by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul answers these questions with an enthusiastic yes.
This book is a nonfiction children masterpiece. The text reproduces children's dreams about heaven and hell. The dreams in the novel were experienced by the authors children, Priyanka and Deepika. These girls experienced all sorts of adventures, from walking on the golden road to seeing the fire of hell. Within the constraints of their vocabulary, the girls shared their adventures with their parents. Jemima and Arvind Paul were amazed by the girls vivid descriptions of what heaven and hell are like. Based on what the girls described, the authors were able to connect their dreams to biblical scripture.
This book communicates the reality of heaven and hell in a way that is fascinating. I love how simple the language of the text is. This simplicity gives authenticity to the text as it preserves the simple, colorful language of the children. The language of the text literally made me a believer. The inclusion of biblical references and scripture is another thing that I love. While the book is about the children’s dreams, the use of scripture to explain their dreams provides a source of reference. I am particularly fond of the gallery. The pictures drawn by the children made me happy, and for some reason, looking at them made me feel closer to God.
There is nothing that I dislike about this book. The text is well edited with no grammatical errors. The plot of the book is clear and easy to understand. This makes it great for both kids and adults.
I rate this book 5 out of 5. The account of each dream is detailed and well explained by biblical scripture. The biblical references also facilitate further study. I am simply amazed by how much I learned from this short book. I enjoyed reading it, and I am sure that you will too.
The concept of the book so interesting, it is perfect for children. Any parent who is teaching their children about the Christian way of life should buy this book. I am sure that children will be captivated by it. It would also make a lovely read for Christians and Christian-minded individuals. The text contains so many biblical references. I guarantee that your Bible study about heaven and hell will be made easy with this book. Do heaven and hell really exist? After reading the novel and going through the scriptures, my answer is yes. Now it’s your turn to decide.
