Review of A Dream For Peace
We all want to pursue our aspirations and goals. When we finally take steps to achieving those goals and ambitions, we may encounter many challenges that could endanger our lives and the lives of others around us. Some of them may appear impossible or extremely tough to pursue. However, adhering to our principles, making goals, and refusing to let others' dissuasion stop us from following our aspirations can all help us succeed. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's book called A Dream For Peace sheds light on the significance of holding fast to your convictions.
The author tells us about his life narrative in this book. He states that Algeria is where he is originally from. He continued his education in France, where he pursued his dream of becoming a doctor. But in addition to having the desire of becoming a doctor, he also had the dream of bringing freedom to Algeria, which was under the control of French colonial government. He describes his achievements and the difficulties he faced while working to keep his country free. Was he successful in bringing independence to his nation? For additional information, read this book.
I appreciated how the author discussed other parts of his life, such as his relationships, in addition to his desire to see his country become free. I also like the fact that he accepted and even looked at people from other religious backgrounds in the same way that he did those who shared his own religion without showing any bias. In fact, while still a Muslim, he married a Catholic woman. I also like that he included pictures in his book since they helped me better understand the point he was trying to make.
I found nothing in this book to be objectionable. The book's organization was clear and logical, and the author utilized straightforward language. The fact that it was progressive, though, is what I appreciated the most; as a result, I kept wanting to learn more about it. I also appreciated that each chapter had a distinct headline, which always let me know what it was about. I particularly appreciated the author's use of his own experiences to inform his writing, which made everything he presented understandable.
A few punctuational errors were there in the book, but they didn't in any way interfere with my ability to read it. This demonstrated that it had been professionally edited. As a result, I give A Dream For Peace 5 out of 5 stars. I suggest this book to anybody interested in politics and memoirs, particularly ones that focus on the lives of admirable individuals.
