<r><I><s></s>A Dream for Peace<e></e></I> by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is an extraordinary autobiography that delves into the remarkable life of Dr. Berrah, a freedom fighter dedicated to restoring order and tranquilly. Spanning 644 pages, this memoir sheds light on his journey filled with adversity and triumph. The book reveals Dr. Berrah's experience as an Algerian advocate who was ready to get arrested unjustly in Spain for speaking for his fellow brothers. Despite the challenges, he managed to pursue his studies and work. Driven by his righteousness and the call of the President of Côte d'Ivoire to serve his fellow Africans, Dr. Berrah made a pivotal decision. He abandoned his research-based career, choosing to support President Houphouët as an advisor and his right-hand man, and is highly regarded for his exceptional talents. Along the way, he became deeply involved in various organizations, enduring detention and forced labor during tumultuous times. Dr. Berrah's firsthand account illuminated the struggles faced by victims and their resilience in the face of adversity; his life is a testament to his numerous accomplishments. His conscientious approach and unwavering determination allowed him to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles in the fields of science and complex diplomatic assignments.<br/>

I enjoyed reading this book. One of the aspects that captivated me about this book is the author's clear and eloquent writing style. The meticulous formatting enhanced the reading experience. Moreover, Dr. Berrah's principled and inspiring lifestyle portrayed throughout the book left a profound impact on me. His commitment to helping his brothers in distress and achieving significant goals shines through every page. Through this book, I gained a profound understanding of how colonialism, racism, and injustice can deeply impact individuals.<br/>

The only thing that I mildly disliked about this book was that it was very long. While I thoroughly enjoyed delving into the author's life journey, I must admit that the length and information-heavy nature of the book presented a slight challenge for my attention span. There were moments when I found it difficult to sustain my focus throughout the extensive content. However, despite this minor drawback, I still consider it a worthwhile and commendable read. It has a few mistakes, but it is overall well edited.<br/>

I would rate it <B><s></s>4 out of 5 stars<e></e></B>. It is a book that encourages us to reflect on our principles and consider how we can contribute to making the world a better place, albeit with way too much information poured into it. I would recommend this book to people who love biographies of freedom fighters. However, it might not be an appropriate book for people who dislike politics and lengthy books.<br/>
