Review of A Dream For Peace
A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a memoir about the author's life and his pursuit of world peace. His birthplace was northern Algeria. The author rose to prominence as one of the most ardent front-line fighters in Algeria's war of independence from France. He was outspoken and vocal when he was a young man about opposing the discrimination and bigotry that existed in his nation at the time. He developed into an enormous man with a hunger for world peace thanks to his mother's love and support. Because he thought that everyone had the right to their sense of self, he took measures that put his life in danger. He personifies patriotism at its best.
The book was interesting to read since it provided background information on Algeria's history, the conditions of French colonial control, and the contribution the author made to Algeria's path to independence. Despite being a Muslim, he felt no animosity against Christians or people of other faiths. The author has a very admirable and motivating perspective on religion. I was truly inspired by the love he had for his country. He didn't give up, despite being young and in a terrible situation, and concentrated on his battle. I admire the author's bravery in pursuing his goals in life while facing many obstacles, such as prejudice and oppression, but he didn't let them get in the way. Many individuals find encouragement in the author's accomplishments because they helped him rise to the status of an exceptional figure.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and informative to read. Although some words were difficult to pronounce, apart from that, it was a great book. It was easy to imagine the events of the book because of the detailed descriptions and images. Reading about the author's discussions and encounters with many presidents was really fascinating. The fact that he backed the opinions of altruistic people and urged some world leaders to pursue a conversation was also motivational. The book has a fairly organized layout. As it follows chronological order, the reader is not confused.
There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. I enjoyed every aspect of it, and as a result, I am rating this book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars. The author used simple language in this book, and it was easy to comprehend.
I recommend this book, A Dream for Peace, to readers who appreciate reading memoirs and accounts of the struggle for liberation.
