Review of A Dream For Peace
A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a life memoir. His birth, his years in school, and the outbreak of the Algerian revolution served as the primary inspirations for the novel's opening. The author also talks about how his mother was devoted to him and how she greatly influenced his academic career, inspiring him to seek a profession in medicine. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah participated in numerous organizations throughout his time at college, including North Africa Muslim Students, an organization that supported Algerian independence. The university was challenging for him. He experienced a lot of discrimination while in school and was detained. The author was the first scientist to propose a theory for reverse transcriptase enzymes.
This insightful book provides a unique perspective on the political image of Africa following the colonial era. The book is an enlightening narrative that acts as a source of inspiration for creating peace and harmony in all areas of existence. I could actually sense the author's emotions while reading this story because it was so well written. I like the author's attention to detail, which enabled him to paint a complete picture of his life in this memoir. Furthermore, I appreciate how he used real images and artifacts all through the book, which, in my opinion, adds to the believability of the book. I was particularly impressed by the author's extensive participation in diplomatic missions, not only in his native country but also around the globe.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was informative and easy to read. Although some words were difficult to read or pronounce, apart from that, I relished reading this book. The central theme of this captivating memoir is the author's personal interactions and connections with notable individuals. The author's perceptive descriptions are furthermore infused with knowledge and affection, with a particular emphasis on the positive sides of their activities. Dr. Berrah's altruistic approach to his people and to humanity as a whole is what distinguishes this story from others.
There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. As a result, I am rating this book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars. The genuine account of a person who changed the state that his country was in was enlightening and motivating to read. He believed that negotiations rather than violence could lead to peace.
I recommend this book to readers who enjoy autobiographies and African history.
