"A Dream For Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a well-written nonfiction book. This 635-page book details the lives and struggles of a hero, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah. Dr. Berrah, who grew up in a rural area of Algeria, saw firsthand how the French continued to treat the Algerian people unfairly. He grew up in a system designed to force them to reject their Algerian ancestry. Dr. Berrah talks to us about his incredible bond with his family, particularly his mother. Dr. Berrah's motivation to fight for the independence of Algeria and other African countries was fueled by the racism and persecution he experienced.

As a child, he admired his mother, who was always there for him. Dr. Berrah faced difficulty throughout his life. After losing his mother, he was imprisoned with Antoinette, a woman from Cote d'Ivoire who subsequently became his first wife. His time in prison did not stop him from seeking peace because he was in Morocco to help the people. He worked as a doctor and a veterinarian while pursuing a law degree, which he had to give up in order to study and become a scientist at the University of Indiana, where he had to learn English. Before going home, he worked on significant projects with Nobel laureates. He had returned to Côte d'Ivoire to work with President Houphout-Boigny. How did he achieve this dream of attaining peace?

I liked the book's underlying message of unity and global cooperation, which is both timely and relevant. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's vision for a peaceful world is presented with unwavering conviction, encouraging readers to reflect on their own roles in shaping a better future. There was nothing I disliked about the book.

I give this book a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 because It was fascinating to read about Africa's battle for independence from the perspective of someone who was present at the time. The book was flawlessly edited, and I found no typographical errors. I recommend the book to those who enjoy memoirs and are interested in reading history books.
