Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
Christians believe that there is heaven and hell as portrayed in the Bible. Those who live according to the commandments of the Lord will eventually enjoy the rewards of Heaven, while those who go against His will will face eternal damnation in hell. In Jemima and Arvind's book, "Snatched Up to Heaven," they vividly depict how these concepts have influenced modern Christian life.
In this book, children live in a world of dreams and experience visions, just as the word of God describes. The children share stories, images, and unique descriptions that they have never encountered before in their lives. The book emphasizes that God can use anyone, regardless of age or gender, to communicate with His people. This is evident as the authors give examples from the Bible of young individuals whom God called at a tender age. It surprises the authors that even four- and five-year-old children can have profound visions and descriptions that surpass their understanding. To make it more realistic, there are also dreams and descriptions that are appropriate for their age.
Heaven is portrayed as an incomparable place of beauty, surpassing any city on earth or beneath it. It is described as having vibrant streets, colorful flowers, and a delightful scent. There is an abundance of pure water to quench thirst, and all kinds of animals that lovers of animals could desire. I personally enjoyed the conversation between the innocent child and Jesus Christ himself. Christ humbly responds to their questions, demonstrating the importance of humility and inclusiveness in society. The children also interact with other heavenly creatures in a friendly manner, showing that all are welcome in Heaven.
Hell, on the other hand, is depicted as a terrible place where those who have chosen to go seem blind and have lost their sense of direction. As a Christian, I have always believed that it is not a desirable place to be. The book portrays various forms of suffering in hell. I was greatly impressed by the authors' use of biblical verses, which greatly contribute to understanding the context of the dreams and visions. The carefully chosen verses make the entire scenario more realistic. The book also answers many questions I have had about heaven and hell.Once you start reading this book, you may find it difficult to put it down until you have finished it.
From the beginning to the end of this book, everything impresses me. The children's narration technique, the carefully selected biblical verses, and the well-organized plot captured my attention from start to finish. If there is a book that I have truly enjoyed, it is this one. I share the author's feeling that heaven and hell are real. Entering either of them is a matter of choice. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I didn't notice any grammar errors in this book, a clear indicator that it was professionally edited. I recommend this book to Christians of all ages who may wish to have a clear picture of how heaven and hell look like and the differences between them. It will help believers grow spiritually as they make correct choices in life. I declare Jemima and Arvind my favorite authors, and I am going to read more of their literary works.
