A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a passionate autobiography that details the author's journey to becoming a peace activist. This book examines the author's valiant attempts over his entire life to alter the state of politics. By outlining his early years, including his parents, the location of his birth, and his family, the author provides a summary of the time of French colonial rule in Algeria at the start of the book. Due to his success in school, he was given a scholarship to study in France. His involvement in politics began when he witnessed racial injustice while serving as a medical practitioner. He observed the zealous opposition in France to racism and bigotry against Algerians and other residents of conquered countries. He also wrote about the difficulties and issues he and his comrades faced while attempting to find freedom.

I admired his unwavering commitment to achieving world peace. I also commend Christians and Muslims for their cordial relationship and mutually beneficial collaboration. The fact that this lovely memoir contains numerous photographs appeals to me since they give it an authenticity that is greater and enable me to follow the author's journey through his life. There are plenty of lessons to be learned from the author's life, which focuses on topics like prejudice and colonialism. His courageous and forthright personality should be appreciated. The author overcame several challenges in his fight for freedom.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was insightful and informative to read. Another emotionally charged component of this book is the author's love story with his wife, Titi. It taught me that love can overcome obstacles. I learned a lot about the history of Africa and various of its nations through this book. I found the book valuable because of how much information it contained. Furthermore, I loved that the book's political foundations and the histories of the African countries could both be studied.

This memoir is most impressive to me because of the author's compassion and unrelenting dedication to fighting for justice. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. As a result, I am rating the book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars. I am happy that I came across such a gripping and thoughtfully provocative book.

I recommend the book to readers who enjoy memoirs and African history.
