Review of Kitchen Organizing Tips for Beginners: Step by Step Comprehensive Blueprint on How to Organize Your Kitchen li
If the kitchen stood compared to the human body, it would be tantamount to the heart. It is the nerve center of most homes. While this is the creative space where you can experiment with new recipes and techniques, a cluttered kitchen can lead to a dysfunctional home. When the kitchen is not functional, it can be demanding to cook meals, and it can be stressful to prepare food.
Kitchen Organizing Tips for Beginners is an arsenal that everyone with a kitchen or planning to set up one must have. A well-organized kitchen saves you space and lowers the safety hazards. Cooking is also made more effortless and faster by an organized space. Interestingly, a well-organized kitchen leads to money savings, as it catapults us toward homemade healthy foods. Unfortunately, the kitchen is replete with the challenges of keeping it neat.
At the summit is a lack of time. For some people, it can be space constraints, while others experience difficulty choosing the best storage solutions or planning. The good news is that every challenge has its solutions. Did you know that you can also hire a professional?
This quick read provides insights into assessing your kitchen space, creating and actualizing a work plan, finding storage solutions, organizing specific areas, and decorating your kitchen stylishly. Chapter 4, “Purging and Decluttering,” was my standout chapter. This step requires making bold decisions and being objective about what you need and don't need in your kitchen.
I appreciated Karen Massy’s consciousness of the ecosystem. When decluttering, the author prompts the reader to donate what they do not need to charity or sell them. However, the dilapidated items should be disposed of carefully. Karen acknowledges that people struggle with disposing of things that hold sentimental value. She incorporated solutions to the issue. The minimalistic approach appealed the most to me. The practice increases the functionality of the kitchen and makes navigation easy. Above all, it reduces stress and anxiety levels.
Kitchen Organizing Tips for Beginners can be read by anyone. I was glad to note that space should not be an issue when organizing my space. Creativity is the key to solving most organizational matters. The ideas are realistic and actionable. Most of Karen Massy's ideas can be deployed in enhancing organizational skills in other spectrums of everyday life.
Due to its practicality and enlightening nature, I rate this book 5 out of 5. Besides the minor grammatical error and inconsistent numbering layout (on one page), I didn’t find anything to dislike in this short read. I encourage everyone with a kitchen to check out this book. It is the missing piece you have been looking for to stay organized.
