I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5. It explained niching in a very story-telling way and made me understand it so much better than before. I used to think it was only for highly specialized people that had years of experience in their field. However, he proved me wrong. There were a lot of parallels with sports, movies, famous people, etc. that made the book relatable to everyone and easier to understand. The author was also someone you can relate to; a broke teacher who started a side hustle early in his career. His first side hustle was something I would have totally been interested in! The writing was excellent and funny, it did not feel like I was reading a boring educational book. As someone who experiences difficulty in maintaining focus for extended periods of time while reading educational material, this book provided a refreshing breath of air. I also liked how the chapters were divided; it made sense as I watched the story unfold of how he got started with niching, and if we need to read a specific information again, it will be easy to find. Finally, as someone who hates typos in books, you can observe that this book was very well written with a lot of analogies, and it had no grammatical errors that I could find! The only reason why I rated this book a 4, is because I felt that some of his pro and con arguments went on for a little too long. However, I understand that to explain it as simply as possible, sometimes we can overexplain things. I would definitely recommend this book to people who want to start a business or are in marketing, as I think we could all learn from his experience!
