Butterfly Awakens: A Memoir Of Transformation Through Grief by Meg Nocero is a self-help book that encourages readers to transform their inner strength and make changes. It is a memoir that represents her struggles. When Meg lost her mother to cancer, she was devastated, her mother being the closest to her since she was a child. This book follows the author's journey of healing, growth and a sense of purpose.

The author uses her own experience and stories of her life. Since she was a child she thought of herself as the odd one out, she was bullied and her mother was always there for her when she needed it. Even as an adult, she doesn't like her job being a trial attorney can be hard. She tells us everything, every vulnerable part of her life, especially the death of her mother. She takes us from the darkest of moments of her life to her life in the courtroom. Meg then proceeds to go on a journey to heal herself and find herself again. Everyone has lost someone we know, sometimes someone close to us, death has visited every one of our homes, taking someone we knew, how to navigate through that, to overcome it. This book tells us that. I would give this 5 out of 5 stars.

Meg Nocero is open to many different ways of healing, and this book is just that. She confronts every hardship with gutsiness, including the El Camino de Santiago walk in Spain. She motivates readers to find their purpose and live a fulfilling life. Furthermore, she offers practical advice on how to overcome challenges and obstacles, and how to embrace your unique qualities to create a life filled with joy and meaning.

I loved how she always added a quote related to the chapter and how she wrote the book so beautifully. I would say that this is extremely well-edited, I did not find any errors. Likewise, I have nothing bad to say about this book because it is very good and useful. I would recommend this book to someone fighting grief. This book will change your life.
