Whether you are someone deeply interested in finding modern ways to form a community and impact others, or someone who is feeling stuck and wants something more from life, Gina Bianchini’s book entitled Purpose will help you find your purpose, or purposes as she likes to call it, in the world. I would rate Bianchini’s first book a 4/5. Not only does she find ways to connect to her readers by including personal experiences and stories, but she writes questions and sets tasks for the reader that lead to a deeper level of self connection and understanding. She teaches her audience more about themselves so that they can go out into the world ready to create a real community filled with purpose. Bianchini uses the word ‘intention’ in many different aspects in order to make her point that everything you do must be done with intention. This book is about self reflection, the importance of community, and how to bring people with similar ideas and passions together. You will be inspired by Bianchini’s own life story, as well as the ones she includes as examples. You will feel empowered to create something, to be something, bigger than yourself. While there are moments when every paragraph starts to sound the same, it is only to reinforce and remind the reader of the main topics of the book: purpose, intention, and community. This book is extremely relevant to every single person existing in 2023, and it has the power to change what COVID disrupted. Even if you don’t finish this book and go out to form an impactful community, you will at least have learned something new about who you are as a person, and what powers you hold that can change the lives of those around you. I would highly recommend Gina Bianchini’s first book Purpose.
