The storms are never-ending, this is what the book clearly tells us but that's not the main plot. It's about how with just 9 principles, about 20+ different exercises, and through various steps we can overcome the adversities in our life.
Getting into the book is pretty easy and you will be hooked in no time with the language being simple. The author is pretty straightforward with his words.
The way the author gives us exercises is amazing because sometimes we might find these kind of things troublesome and waste of time, these are serene and doesn't take much time.
On the other hand, the main principles which I would say are nothing big but things that we usually just brush off. The author tells us about how the negligence of these principles causes us trouble through his own story and how we can implement them in our life to achieve success not just in professional life but also in finances and relationships.
The things I particularly like about the book is how it doesn't have arduous pieces of advice, they are simple yet easy though like everything else they also take some effort but not so much as to make you feel tired or give up without trying.
Second is the quotes, they are from well-known writers, philosophers, and poets which you must have heard the names of so they somehow make the book feel more homey and something that you would want to take advice from.
The third is how you would in one way or another find it relatable. Like even if you hadn't gone through the same thing, everyone has their share of trauma and troubles so it also tells us about the help that we could get from therapy.
The thing I didn't like about the book was too much duplication of examples. The author mainly for one reason or another in every suggestion or step goes back to the same 2 examples and after a time it got boring to read about them and to picture the suggestion using it.
On and all, I would say it was a good read and definitely helped in many different ways and I am thankful. It didn't even take much time to finish as the book itself tells us about how important it is to read.
I give this book 4 out 5 stars and would recommend this book as well as like to see more of us getting the good from the book.
