If you feel like you have been overwhelmed with your responsibilities but still don’t find any value in your work or occupation, this book will be a great avenue to clear your aim and values in life. In other words, this book will provide you with a step-by-step method to summarize your purpose in a clear way and bring it to life by building a community to support your purpose.
You might think you have already read enough amount of literature about the meaning of life of finding your purpose in life; however, I will argue that this book still can surprise you because it has a different structure and will bring a different perspective to activate your dreams.
The strongest attribute of this book is the interactive method which is engaging us, the readers, through the long journey and actually makes us participate in the process. Generally, self-development books just present a recipe and will tell you how important it is to find your purpose in life. Frankly, this book gives us a hands-on practice opportunity with small tasks and reciprocal questionaries.
There was a time when I thought, due to her background in Silicon Valley, the author revealed a one-sided, technology-specific perspective, but then I was inspired and interested by the inclusion of different experiences from a variety of people from different age groups and different backgrounds.
What you will frequently see in this book is the importance of community development and engagement. You might want to be a solo entrepreneur, but after reading this book, you will see the math behind this strategy.
I also want to mention that I always find the knowledge of a lifetime experience or know-how especially valuable; however, the ability to transfer this knowledge to different minds is a talent. Here in this book, you can benefit from the author’s experience in developing the Community Design Master Class, where she already figured out the obstacles of teaching and engaging the community in the course context. Therefore, I find the main text of this book fluent and engaging along a participatory structure. I believe all her life lessons and learnings are summarized in this book as a practical framework, along with inspirational stories and strong questions. For this reason, I rate this book 5 out of 5.
I strongly suggest this book for self-development readers who are looking for a way to find their purpose in life. Here is a practical framework that promises you success and support.
