The author acknowledges that readers may have various motivations for picking up the book, such as searching for their purpose or wanting to make their existing purpose more impactful.
The book acknowledges the growing body of research that suggests finding meaning in life goes beyond mere happiness or entertainment, emphasising the importance of having a purpose. It also recognises that some individuals may have religious inclinations that they find necessary but not entirely fulfilling. Additionally, the book acknowledges that the demands of daily life can make it challenging to dedicate time to introspection, yet the desire to uncover, solidify, and act upon one's purpose persists.
Based on the author's years of exploration and countless interactions with people on their purpose journeys, the book asserts that everyone has the opportunity to define a clear intention for their time, talents, and energy. Moreover, the book suggests that individuals possess the power to set their purpose into motion, implying that it's not solely a theoretical concept but something that can be actively pursued and achieved.
