Chris Dreyer is the founder of Rankings.io, an SEO agency. Niching Up is a book by the author about how to achieve success by focusing on one field alone instead of a generalised approach. The author explains how to choose a niche, how to get good at it, and how to get money out of it. The book covers all the necessary steps needed for finding your niche, and how to develop it into a successful side hustle. The author also gives information about the markets and pricing strategies one can employ. The book is a consolidation of the author's journey into earning full time by niching up.

What I liked the most was that the author did not skip over the cons of niching up. Most often, the risks associated with a business are understated. The book was very well organised and detailed with step-by-step instructions. The examples provided were very fun. In the last chapter, the author explains why the cons of niching he explained worked out to be in his favour. It was a beautiful ending to the book which encompasses his idea that the benefits of niching up overweigh the risks.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. The author writes this book genuinely and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole book. It was very well edited and not boring at all given all the personal stories shared in between.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It is perfect. I loved every part of it. There is so much knowledge crammed into it. The perspective of the author is fresh and the fact that he has niched up himself provides credibility to the book.

I recommend this book to college students and teens. Anyone who is interested in starting up a side business or is interested in niching will also enjoy this book.
