Since COVID restrictions were lifted, life has always been different for many people. People had already adapted to the isolation life, staying indoors, and loved the introverted life. Their social life and connections with friends were halted, but after lifting restrictions, they had to return to their earlier normal lives before the COVID invasion. Many people now feel isolated and disconnected from social life.

Ellen Dawson's book, You Can Talk to Anyone: Easily Engage in Conversation Using Proven Communication Skills and Forge Strong Interpersonal Connection, provides real-life ways to help those struggling post-covid to get their social lives back on track. The journey begins with Ellen Dawson giving her personal life story, from how she was living the best of her life before the pandemic, the indoors and isolation life when COVID was declared a global pandemic and lockdown restrictions were imposed, to how she struggles to adapt to life after the restrictions are lifted. The progress she made in overcoming her struggles with social disconnection and isolation is what made her share those ways in this book. To find them, grab a copy of this book.

Ellen Dawson has used simple and straightforward, understandable language without complex terms and information that would give any reader a hard time while reading this book. It was easy to understand the book's information as the author takes one from understanding isolation to how to build a long-lasting and healthy friendship. I love her suggestions to convince the audience to try journaling and how journaling was helpful to her progress.

Ellen Dawson provides topics that can keep conversations going, starters for conversations, ways to create conversational groups, and many other exciting ideas in the book. The writing and descriptions were clear in the book. Everything was interesting, and Ellen Dawson has exhaustively covered every possible way one can regain their social life in the book.

Ellen Dawson's book has no flaws or errors that I encountered that frustrated me when reading it. It was exceptionally edited, and I will give it 5 out of 5 stars due to the positive aspects of it and the valuable information in the book. There wasn't a solid reason to deprive it of a star. I recommend this book to anyone struggling to reconnect with social life and to those suffering from social isolation after the COVID pandemic. The book encourages one to seek friendship and the importance of socializing in life.
