"28 Disastrous Dates: A Mostly True Humorous-Memoir" captures readers with its captivating and entertaining exploration of the author's real-life dating experiences from her early twenties. She draws inspiration from her own string of unfortunate romantic encounters, and the author decides to share these misadventures in a lighthearted and humorous manner. With every date that the author engaged in, she found herself and had a fair idea of what she didn't want in a man and she never compromised on that. With every twist and turn, every experience that turned into an adventure she found herself and understood what she was worth.

What sets this memoir apart is the relatability of the experiences. If you have your own share of enduring challenges of modern dating you will find solace, you will find comfort in the misfortunes that the author faced. The author's ability to capture the essence of these encounters and still find humor in every experience, some complete with awkward situations, embarrassing mishaps, and at times unrealistic expectations, is both comforting and amusing.

I gave the book a 5 out of 5, this book is definitely a light-hearted read that left me laughing out loud in awkward places. It was not only humorous but also relatable, we all have a fair share of our own disastrous dating stories. With the side dashes of self-reflection on every date made me realize the authenticity of the book, the memoir is worth picking up. I loved how she described every date, especially when she has conversations in her mind or just thinking about the advice her mother gave her especially when she said run.

In conclusion, it is an entertaining and relatable memoir that will have you laughing, cringing, and nodding in recognition. It strikes a perfect balance between humor and self-introspection with
every experience which makes it a delightful read for anyone who has ever endured the challenges of modern dating. Whether you're looking for a lighthearted escape or seeking solace in shared dating misadventures, this book is sure to leave you entertained and uplifted.
