Praying for Pastor and Our Church by Glenn Mitchell is an extensive book on prayers for men and women of God and the church. Once men and women stand in the gap praying for pastors, they will be moved to greater heights and depths.

The book contains verses from the Bible. These scriptures are also recited, removing the need for the reader to check the Bible for content. For every point the book portrays, the author uses scriptures to drive it home. For example, when the author talked about the church praying for men and women of God in the first chapter, he referred to Acts 12.

The author started the book with a story. This is a brilliant attempt at getting readers' minds focused on the book. Also, the story helped emphasize the reason why prayers must continually be made for pastors. The author also used stories from the Bible. One of the stories was of Herod holding Peter to cause believers to pray.

The author provides the names of God in a tabular form alongside their meanings. This is brilliant because it gives the reader and intercessors a wide range of names to select from when addressing God.

The author gives examples of how each prayer is to be made. The book is not just a regular kind of prayer guide. It establishes the importance of praying for the pastor before showing how to pray for them. It then finally gives the prayer guide. This is an excellent sequence, and a big kudos goes to the author for it.

Prayer for Pastor and Our Church is a book I recommend to every Christian who loves their pastor. The book is exceptionally edited, and there's nothing to dislike. Therefore, I rate the book a five out of five.

I think all too often as Christians we want to only receive from church leaders. It is so important what we sow into them as well, especially in terms of prayer.

It Good to pray for your pastor, he's the Leader in your church and incase the Devil turned to control him , then he's taking all to hell . I know individual believes his pastor. Yes! That's why you chose that church , so let pray for Pastors

Prayers can defeat everything. When you pray with faith in God. Let's include in our prayer our pastors, brothers and sisters in Christ, all the people around the globe, our government, injustices, healing, protection, love, and peace. I appreciate the author for writing a beautiful book of prayers. God bless you with favor and wisdom. Also, the review is beautiful and appealing; great job.

The book seems to teach that we must pray for each other, not just for ourselves. Pastors pray for us, in turn, we will pray for them. God hears our prayers every time we are genuine about them. Thanks for your lovely review, Nzube!
