What are you building your life around? What is the end goal you would like to achieve in this life? Having a sense of purpose and ambition is critical to achieve any goal. In this book titled Purpose, Gina Bianchini provides key steps and guidelines for finding purpose amidst life’s challenges.
When you purchase a new product, usually, you will follow the user manual to be able to utilize the product to its full potential, in the same way, us humans require a user guide to keep us on track to achieving our full potential. Gina emphasizes throughout the book the importance of taking at least one step daily towards finding your true purpose and demonstrating your true potential. Fulfilling your purpose won’t come easily or automatically but it does take time.
Gina calls the purpose practice the “Purpose 30.” The goal is to spend 30 minutes every day mobilizing and refining your purpose. There are seven steps included to craft your Purpose 30. It begins with clearing out all the stuff that’s on your mind, you’ll be able to envision a future for yourself and the community that you create.
I truly appreciated the honesty and realness in the writing throughout the book, that everything takes time, but consistency is what will make the difference in our result. Practical examples and suggestions for different tools such as utilizing social media to our advantage to aid in growth as well the need to have a community and a power circle to fuel growth is critical. In sharing the advantages, she also highlighted the negative impact of social media, over usage hinders growth. One personal take away from this read is that it encouraged me to take a deep look at my life and vision, evaluating where I am at currently and where I want to be and what are the steps required to achieve my goals, I created a vision board to aid in visualizing my future which now fuels me to step closer to my dreams. Within a two-week period, I was well on my way with a new business idea that has already gain positive feedback and profit. I sold just one product that I made, and from the review, I was motivated to continue building my business.
In addition, to all the practical steps highlighted in the book Purpose, Gina touched on many stories about successful individuals and brief anecdotes about their journey to ultimate success. I can guarantee that you would not want to miss out on the step-by-step guidelines shared for everyone to get started with their first leap toward finding their true purpose, priceless information that can make a significant difference in your life.
In closing, I would highly recommend that readers grasp at this opportunity to feel empowered, re-energized, and motivated to achieve your dreams. The book is a bit long and stretched but Gina would have ensured all details were provided as she truly desires this book to inspire change in us.
I rated this book a 4/4 as it was an excellent inspiring read for me. Seldom times you discover books that enable you to fuel your goals and dreams with provision of step-by-step guidelines to attain it.
In the section out 5 I would have rated this book 4/5 as it was truly an amazing book but due to some sections being a bit wordy is the reason a point was deducted.
