Review of A Dream For Peace

"A Dream for Peace" presents the compelling memoir of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, an Algerian native, recounting his impactful journey of political engagement and resolute commitment to liberating Algeria from the clutches of French colonial rule.
Dr. Ghoulem stands as a rarity, embodying a profound devotion to peace that permeates his very being and life's endeavors. His unwavering dedication to diplomatic pursuits is a rare and exceptional trait. A pivotal figure in Algeria's decolonization, he played a significant role in fostering peace talks between Palestine and Israel. Even in the face of strained familial ties, he courageously took the initiative to mend ruptures. As a diplomatic advisor and special counselor to Ivorian President Houphouët-Boigny, Dr. Ghoulem's influence was formidable, bringing him into close interaction with renowned historical figures like Pope John Paul II, John Kennedy, and Yasser Arafat. Moreover, his remarkable proficiency as a doctor mirrors his deep passion for biology. I didn't find any errors in the book's pages because they were exceptionally edited. I rate this book five out of five stars without reservation and highly suggest it to anyone who enjoys reading about African history like autobiographies, is a peacekeeper, or is interested in world politics.
