Looking into the mirror and seeing my weight breaks my heart. I have tried different things in my weight-loss journey, all to no avail. Reading Coffee Mate: Brewing Weight Loss Inspiration by Nancy McGhee makes me understand what I have been missing.

Within 33 pages, the author dished out things that help in the weight loss journey. Different from most of the weight loss books or plans I have read, the author in this book, in what she said should be read while drinking coffee, goes into an aspect that many people don't talk about or don't know is of utmost importance in the weight loss journey.

Short and impactful, the author employed quotes where necessary and poems to explain and pass her message to her audience. I felt it when she said, "Nothing is free; there’s no Genie in the bottle. Something must be sacrificed, or your dreams will be hollow." It is not enough to say you want to lose weight; you just have to put something in place, which she explained well in this book.

I was reading a report recently and saw something that struck me. We live in a world where some people want to shed weight because they are seriously overfed, and some are hungry. Many would rather eat food than give it out then spend money to seek ways to burn fat. The author suggests using a fork to eat and seeing the magic in it. Wonderful!!! The author's writing style is one I enjoyed, and I am glad I read the book.

The book is easy to understand; many may not agree with her style, but Chapter 7, the Q&A part, would clear any doubt and answer any questions that might be in the readers' hearts. It is worth a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I disliked nothing about the book; it was exceptionally well-edited and highly inspirational, with words straight from the heart of a mother who shared with us the road to her weight gain and loss journey of over 20 years.

I recommend this book to therapists and people trying to lose weight and control their diet. Also, people who love reading healthy and inspiring books would enjoy this too.

The mention of the book's concise nature, spanning just 33 pages, suggests that it delivers its message efficiently and directly. This can be appealing for readers who are looking for practical advice without unnecessary filler content.

I love short books. I would get a copy of this if I can enjoy it the way you did. You did well in the review starting from the summary to the recommendations. Well-done.
