E. Alan Fleischauer expertly encompasses several years of experience in the financial industry into 13 chapters that go over the ins and outs of bonds, 401k plans, retirement, social security, practically planning for the future, and more in this smart piece of literary nonfiction titled Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead. This book is an easy-to-understand introduction to topics that prove to be a heavy presence in everyone's lives, yet are rarely discussed or understood by many. Whether you are a young adult or an older person, this book is something that will help you successfully protect your future, money, and assets. Considering that Fleischauer is a seasoned professional with over 30 years in the financial services industry, readers can feel assured knowing that the advice, recommendations, and information given in this book are credible and of high quality.

What is most impressive about this book is how Fleischauer can break down these intense concepts in a way that is accessible to the average person who doesn’t have as much knowledge about these topics. When reading this book, I was not flooded with an excessive amount of information, instead, I was gently introduced. The author opts for a friendly, fatherly-advice-inspired style of writing and gives the reader simplified explanations of these topics while including a dad joke every once in a while! All in all, I had fun reading this book and finished it feeling more informed and confident in my plans for the future. In addition to that, each chapter is engaging and is neither too short nor too long. There are also zero spelling errors and is professionally edited,

I have no critiques about this book.

I confidently give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Aside from the profoundly educated author’s ability to relay such valuable information in a way that is coherent and enjoyable to read, I finished the book feeling relief and comfort knowing I have a proper foundation to continue my research to reconfigure my finances and my future. This is an exceptional read and will take its place on my bookshelf

I recommend this book to young adults and older people who are interested in becoming more educated on financial concepts, readers who enjoy self-help books, and anyone looking for a solid resource regarding money, investments, insurance, and other related topics. For those who are looking for a credible guide on their way to financial betterment, this book is an excellent choice.
