Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead is a non-fiction book by E. Alan Fleischauer.

I have never read any book on financial advices, for the simple reason that there are so many advices available online, that one feels overwhelmed. Anything and everything that I have read till now puts me at extreme ends of the spectrum, I either want to just work super hard for 20 hours in a day and save all for the rainy day or sell all of my assets and go and start living in the Himalayas.
But this reading changed my perspective.

I mean someone is actually trying to tell you here how to plan and make your life choices better for the future.

While reading, it seemed that the author knew exactly what I have been doing in my life with my finances and my assets, and what all I am planning on doing with it, which were all the wrong plans.

While making someone understand what they need, without trying to put them down for not being intelligent enough to already know, is a skill very few possess. And our author here has done precisely that.

Though this book is meant specifically for Americans, and most of the schemes and forms mean nothing to outsiders, including me, what is does is point out all the things that are common to human beings in general.

Health, Education, Family life, Kids and the satisfaction of being able to work for these while still being able to enjoy life guilt free and stress free is an aim for anyone who is a part of this work and save culture, and that is humans in general.

After reading the book, I have realised that there are areas in my life that I need to work on, specifically the health insurance and the disability insurance.

I would give this book 5 on 5 stars, with the cherry being all the lighter jokes and humor, to try to make a novice like me understand everything properly and stay hooked to the book.

I would definitely recommend the book to anyone who is confused about their finances and assets.
