This is a very interesting book about all of the finance that went into the making of USA. J. W. Markham goes into specific detail of major events, but just goes over ones that are unimportant or redundant. I learned an enormous amount from this one volume, and there are three! I recommend it to those who love history, or those who just want to learn more.
