This is a great book. The author starts with the cons of niche markets and then offers the solutions for the average niche finders. He used examples from big companies and also small online companies which helped me understand the topic better. I really loved that author himself used example whenever he made an argument.
The author mentioned 7 cons at the very beginning of the book and used real examples from what we face as online business owners and also presented lessons from companies like Walmart. One paragraph stood out to me as the author said “ It’s important to note that the deeper you go in a niche, the faster these cons are accelerated—and the greater the risks can impact you. I don’t want to scare”. He can write like this because he also had a niche based business himself.
In the second part of the book, the author illustrates how having a broader audience is a better prerequisite for niching up. He started with his own experience as an affiliate marketer where we are told to find our niche as a first rule of thumb. I was really convinced to have a broader audience first because of how the author presented the whole argument in a logical manner.
The book is from a real business person who delved into the niche industries for years. You will definitely benefit from this book from chapter 3 till the very conclusion. The author also suggested multiple high quality books to read which I found to be very useful for a reader like me. This books should be a must read for every affiliate marketer and business people.
