Gina Bianchini – Purpose

A powerful look at how purpose can create community in an increasingly disconnected world, despite our access to digital devices and platforms that keep us ‘connected’ 24/7.
Gina’s call to action is a concise, well thought through exploration of how finding our purpose can lead us, to a fulfilling life, interacting and connecting to others, whilst still embracing digital technology.

Written in the first person and using personal anecdotes and insights, Gina’s book provides step by step guidance and support on how each one of us can find purpose in their life and create meaningful ‘real’ communities that are not blighted by social media algorithms or advertising. Which over the last few years have been generating anxiety, depression, and discontent by promoting ‘communities’ that do not actually tap into the most basic of human needs - connection.

This is where Gina’s book hits the magic button, her ideas are all about promoting connection.
What is particularly striking about this book is that its call to purpose is not confined to life changing scenarios or grand gestures, but rather it asks the reader to consider how purpose can transform, enhance, or change their life for the better; be that in their everyday interactions with others, personal development, or community initiatives. There is no one-size-fits-all approach or a need to go global.

In fact, the author encourages the reader to see applying the steps provided, as a way to question and interrogate what it means to live in today’s world - be that in your own back yard or on a global stage.

A truly insightful read.
