I was hooked from the introduction. The author writes about his journey in business. How focusing (niching) helped him become a specialist for PI lawyers. How he marketed to attract them. Built status and wealth, etc. The author's ease of writing and use of life experience to bring across his knowledge, really makes this book an interesting and captivating read. If you are busy like I am, I recommend taking your time, it will be worth it, if this is what you're looking for. I laughed through his jokes and have made a few pointers to apply to my daily life. I enjoyed how he was able to tie in all his points throughout the book. It was great seeing his use of examples like Ford and how he became the first in his niche and though others came afterwards, he was still remembered as number one. Moreover, how doing something different like changing a light saber's colour in star wars; made Samuel L Jackson stand out amoung the Jedi. Also, he laid out the pros and cons giving enough information to educate someone and also encourage them to want to dig deeper or reinforce why they decided to niche in the first place.

I appreciated that he dedicated a chapter to explaining the difference between wealth and status. How to convert, win clients, and how to highlight your brand so your target market knows you are who they're looking for. Please note that he expressed that this is what worked or is Working for him, and may not necessarily work for others. However, the tips he provides are a guides. He also encourages people to try a little of everything in the field they are in or want to tap into. That way, they can know their strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, not to look at niching has a downgrade but the opposite. That there are always instances where you can venture in another field but not some much it takes away from what your main business focuses on.
