Snatched Up To Heaven! is a book of testimonials about heaven and hell, authored by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul. When the authors’ children, Priyanka and Deepika, were four and two-year-olds respectively, they claimed they had a sequence of dreams in which they were carried to heaven and hell by angels and were shown around by Jesus. Their parents initially thought that these were just normal dreams. But when Jemima checked the Bible, she was surprised to find out that most of the children’s words had their roots in it.

According to the children, heaven is always at a perfect temperature and is always comfortable. It has amazing food and smells and melodious music always plays there. God and Jesus reside together and love all. People are all happy and do things they love. They all are beautiful and wear beautiful dresses. They also see angels in heaven. They are also shown hell by Jesus, which is the exact opposite of heaven. People are tortured and miserable there and are forced to be slaves to Satan. Hell is full of bad smells and sin.

I liked how Jemima believed her children, instead of dismissing them. I was also amazed at how articulate the children were at such a young age. Their testimonials were a joy to read as they are filled with the kindness of God and colourful things like tiaras. I also liked how the family had decided to live more in line with their faith after their daughters’ experiences.

There is nothing I disliked about this book. There is no profanity, but there was some violence while describing the tortures in hell. There are no erotic scenes. I didn’t find any typos or grammatical errors in the book. It seems to be professionally edited.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars because the author has clearly presented the children’s dreams and also gave her genuine interpretation of them. I recommend it to Christian readers who are looking for books on the afterlife and also to readers who are interested in reading about heaven and hell.
