The Well Educated Mind

Has anyone read The Well Educated Mind by Susan Wise Bauer?
She has written books geared toward classical education for children, but this book is for adults that want to gain a classical education in a self-paced fashion. She lists fiction, nonfiction, biographies, poetry. She gives a little synopsis and the book is laid out so you can start and stop or even read out of order and she goes into a lot of detail, which seems helpful.
I've skimmed the book and hope to make time to work through all the books she recommended. It seems like a great tool to build a classic library.
