Gina Bianchini's book "Purpose" guides readers on a thought-provoking and doable journey toward discovering one's motivation and making it useful in contemporary life. The experiences and knowledge of Silicon Valley social software pioneer Bianchini serve as a road map for discovering a motivating and useful life goal. The "Purpose 30 ritual" described in this book can "completely supercharge one's creativity, resilience, and ability to solve problems."

Numerous instances of Bianchini assisting other people—both privately and publicly—through her website have inspired her to create this book. She uses the strategy outlined in Purpose. Gina Bianchini's book about discovering your purpose through community building is like a breath of fresh air in a time when social media frequently promotes social narcissism. She brings to mind a time when interacting with others for a shared goal was the main focus. She offers a step-by-step method to figuring out what truly makes you happy and how to share that purpose with those around you for those who can't recall those times.

Bianchini proposes an alternative application of social media. She advises using social media to spread the word about your mission and discover people who share it, as opposed to mindlessly browsing. This book is a soft handhold as she guides you through the processes of discovering your purpose without passing judgment. It's also simple to read and amusing. She not only outlines the procedures for achieving your goals, but the book also serves as a workbook for creating your own goals and keeping track of your advancement.

I recommend anyone who is having trouble identifying their mission and figuring out how to pursue it to read this book. I also suggest this book to anyone who has memories of what the community used to be like and the desire to restore it.
